This class is for the knitter who has successfully knit at least one pair of socks before and has a fair bit of prior knitting experience.
From the toe up means you can try them on as you go to get the best fit and use all your yarn without fear of wasting any or running out. Magic looping means you don’t need to use DPNs ever again. You will cover principles of toe-up construction, toe-up cast on, working a heel, stretchy cast-off, and the magic loop technique, and have a full pattern to take home and learn to knit TWO SOCKS AT THE SAME TIME!
Class 1: Casting on two toes, increasing and knitting the magic loop method
Homework: use time in between classes to knit to the point of heel turning
Class 2: Turning the heel
Homework: use time in between classes to knit to the point of ribbing and bind off
